Company Profile....

Atlantic Translations was originally founded in March 2000 by Didier Cavrot and Debbie Buse, who, between them, have over twenty five years' experience of the translation industry, not only as translators in their own right but also as founders/administrators of other successful translation companies.

In 2007, Atlantic Translations was fortunate to be able to join forces with Prolingua Language Services to present a stronger front on the local translation scene and to diversify its services to include foreign language tuition and a more extensive interpreting service. Stephanie Lewis of Prolingua now works together with Debbie and Didier within the new organisation, which, in turn, is divided into two entities - Atlantic Translations (translations, localisation, proofreading and certifications) and Prolingua Language Services (tuition and interpreting).

In this way, they are able to offer a wider range of language services to even more clients, both locally and throughout the whole of the UK and Europe. Their database of translators, interpreters and tutors is consequently more extensive enabling them to offer more choice and a greater degree of specialization where needed.

End-users/clients who have benefited from the high-quality services provided by Atlantic Translations include Dell Computers, the BBC, Toshiba (air-conditioning), FOG (garage lifting equipment), Spinnaker International (security systems), Compass (yacht chandlery), Bénéteau and Jeanneau Yachts, Stovax/Gazco, the International Boat Industry, OKI, Human Concepts, Bonduelle, Beverage Brands, Davis Pneumatics, Ince & Co International Solicitors and Reckmann Furling Systems.
